The arrival of the cargo ship Belo Horizonte into the Port of Long Beach — a flight other drone companies had declined as impossible.
The owner of AO Shipping contacted DRONESURF for a commercial production covering the arrival of his cargo ship, the Belo Horizonte, into the Port of Long Beach. He had approached many other drone companies first, and none of them were able to fly the area because of heavy restrictions.
DRONESURF navigated all the requirements needed to operate inside the Port of Long Beach, California. We produced multiple angles of the vessel for the owner's social media content, plus a one-minute highlight video. The owner of AO Shipping was so pleased that he left us a five-star review.

A major US container port is layered restricted airspace — port authority, Coast Guard, and FAA constraints stacked over active vessel movement and critical infrastructure.
The differentiator on this job was regulatory engineering rather than flying. Competitors were not turned away by the difficulty of the shot; they could not obtain clearance at all.
